About the Author:
Keith Marshall Jones III was founding President of the Ridgefield Historical Society. He is the great (times three) grandson of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall. He is the author of Congress is My Government, the definitive account of Marshall’s wartime service in George Washington’s Continental Army. Other books include Farmers Against the Crown, a comprehensive account of General Benedict Arnold and the 1777 Battle of Ridgefield; and The Farms of Farmingville, a paean to early American rustic architecture. After 26 years as a Ridgefielder, he now resides in Manhattan and Tucson, Arizona .
