Join us for an inspirational evening with acclaimed speaker and best-selling author Kelly Corrigan as she shares some of her experiences as a cancer survivor and as a mother, wife and daughter. She will also share wisdom from her just released book Tell Me More: Stories About the 12 Hardest Things I’m Learning to Say.Kelly Corrigan has touched hearts and captured audiences as the author of New York Times bestselling books, including Glitter and Glue, Lift and The Middle Place, her poignant personal story of battling breast cancer while caring for her father who was also undergoing cancer treatment.  Kelly is currently the host of Exactly, a podcast on KQED, the most listened-to public radio station in the country. She is also an accomplished columnist, appearing in O, The Oprah Winfrey MagazineGlamour and Good Housekeeping. She has been called “the Poet Laureate of the ordinary” by Huffington Post.This program is part of the Library’s Noreen L. Papa – Mothers: Live Your Life series.  The program is co-sponsored by the Ridgefield Library, Books on the Common and Ridgefield’s Run Like a Mother 5K.  Copies of Tell Me More will be available for sale and signing at the event.
